Maybe its time we lay it to rest. No benefit in discussing it at length. I didn't mean to imply that he was to blame with the chicken thing just mentioned it because it was a line of investigation they briefly followed. Obviously it has no merit.

They all get repainted soon I would have thought. But of course it an ongoing thing so when the opportunity comes up it will be done

true, at least they get repainted regularly now, it was a neglected area a few years ago, some buses looked truly awful and 17017 would have been considered in good nick
Although I imagine it will be waiting until the Olympians are done and it's off the road for a while so it can be retrimemd/LED'd as well.

47023 on 50.
34079 was on Harrington & Seaton, later replaced by 47062, which was struggling to change gear.
20436 was on 30.

Has some thing happen in Lancaster today ?
Only the 555 have been arriving in Kendal from Lancaster upto 30-mins late, and the drivers are complaining about heavy traffic congestion in the Lancaster area. I myself passed 18359 which was on 1320 from Lancaster running about 35-mins late passing Pine Lake.

Apparently this bus wasn`t needed at barrow so it is in morecambe for storage before transferred elsewhere. 20894 will return to workington once roadworks have finished in lancaster and K reg b10`s have been sold to wigleys.
14203 has now left North West 
making the corner of Carlisle depot look a little empty haha.
Osprey Bus, 33076 and the Paramount driver trainer were down the side of the depot. nothing at all on the back fence!
paintshops were closed, well, one bay was open, but there was nothing in there. it looked as though they were expecting something to arrive though!
20960, 42670, 42672, 42025, 14206, 42094, and 3 UID B10M's in Workshop areas.
13297, 14268 and 52408 outside the storage sheds, all with boards in them for the many school / college routes. 79 / 179 branded 24118 was behind them.
16734 on 300.
20909 on 93 (usually minibus).
20907 on 600.
14254 on Brampton 685.
lots of Citi branded Darts out again on route branded routes. a few of the route branded Darts were in the shed, and 1 of ones branded for 61 / 61A was out with a fitter driving it.
20435 has gone from the back fence at Carlisle, so i assume that its correct rear registration plate is now in place!

A UID Optare Solo on the 74 in Poulton had an unnatural lean to it when seen in Poulton.

I saw 4 ambulances and a police van speed through the city with sirens on when i was there so i think somethings happened but i don't know what
20301 is, well probably was now, supposed to be removed from service, along with all the other L---PSC's. 20306 has gone, and Kendal's 20305 was at Carlisle with no fleetnames the other week, in the spray shop, but it wasnt rubbed down. all of the others have gone.

20544 on the 4 all day.
Normal shuttles been run today from the Uni. Again traffic slightly better today.
Saw a B10B before and I couldn't see any fleet numbers on it. not on the back or the rear right side. Didn't get a look at the front.

Finally saw 20894 and 20735 today.
I've yet to see 18363 (Morecambe FC) on the North Side of the Bus Station.
555s have been experiencing severe disruption due to roadworks in Carnforth. The 1620 was just a huge farce. 14252 finally arrived at 1657, and by Milnthorpe was 90mins late. Apparently the Trident failed on the way into Lancaster, made worse by the traffic.
