Cutting out the 'loop' in Lancaster makes sense for the time being, I presume the stop on China Street near the NHS centre is now being used (finally!)

20735 and 20894 have been doing runs between Lancaster bus station and the Uni all day.

One of the drivers who is usually on tickets at the underpass was in Hala earlier and later at Common Garden checking times and passenger levels on buses.

They date the repaint because the bus isnt supposed to be washed for 10 days from the date on the sticker

Repainted 16667 came back from carlisle today with the handrails still with the undercoat and masking tape on?!

Major road works in Morecambe are playing havoc with the 2 and 2a service..

No bus allowed along westminster road so they are diverted along alexandra road and up Balmoral cutting of a large area, All because of re surfacing on "Billy Hill"..

Yes indeed I was on the service earlier. They have put bollards up in some roads to restrict parking so the buses can get along them.

I notice Regent Roads gas main renewals are gradually getting closer to the promenade is the 6/6A being diverted along Devonshire Road or onto Albert Road?

20775 went to barnsley in april for scrap after being stuck in morecambe depot for two months.

20474 was apparently originally down for Lillyhall, along with 20435 and 20436.
we need to remember that 20317 and 20319 came from Merseyside to North West a few months ago, one of them was repainted, but has just sat at Lillyhall since with Cumberland Motor Services legal lettering. IIRC, it was CCTV fitted as well. could be that this enters service at Lillyhall instead of 20474.
Barrow is supposed to have 20107 (no idea why, cos it was knackered when Lillyhall had it), 20896, and 20994. 20894 is apparently going to Barrow as well at some point, along with 20918 (the last that came from Manchester. recently repainted).

Also saw 14208 leaving the uni this morning and then heading back through Greaves with "2a" half visible on the blinds.

Saw a Heysham trucks recovers vehicle at the bus station last night. Think one of Fleetwoods 51 plate solos failed after working the 89 so its probably sat at the Morecambe.

I'm surprised too. I can't see why they get rid of 20774 when there are buses in service that are slower and scruffier and rattle more!

40028 on Workington Town Services this morning, but later replaced by 47062, which was then replaced by 47060. 47062 was sounding pretty ill!
