The two drivers were still at the underpass at around 7.30 last night lol. 14208 had been replaced by 14196.

At around 8.45 this morning:

17020,17018 on 2a
17023,17022 on 41
14208 on 500
14195 14196 and 16666 dead at the bus station
MAN on 501
16659 running dead into Lancaster.

Again traffic was awful this morning but a little better then yesterday.

Lancaster did have its own 'wrecker' called Bessy(!) the engineering staff spent a lot of time refurbishing and refitting her and then she was promptly moved off to Carlisle!

Since then its been down to Heysham Trucks to cater for haulage needs, its generally cheaper than having your own wrecker on standby because it still needs tax, insurance, MoT, and the need for an HGV qualified driver to be available when a bus needs dragging home. Weigh it up against call out fees and the cost of actually buying a new or even secondhand wrecker for what is a relatively rare occurance and a contractor becomes very attractive.

I really wish the Public would stop getting involved. It's obvious that they have no clue whatsoever.

Indeed but saying that if I lived in Preston and felt the way some of them feel I would probably make my voice heard.

Yeah, that's true

I'd hope though that it doesn't take very long to get the buyer to pick them up/get them moved to Lillyhall for collection when it's slightly less full.

I finally saw 18363 (Morecambe FC) on the Northbound side of the bus station today [working Overton 2A], previosuly I'd only ever seen it on the South side.

18354 [Beatrix Potter] still smelling very oily and sounding rattly. I wonder if one of the saloon (hot) air pipes has a hole or something?

I'm guessing that the choice of 10 will be:
20306
20452
20705
20735/7
20743
20750/4/5
That's 9 so the other might be 20725.

Oh great B10's lined up at Morecambe lol should be a pretty sight :) Last time their all lined up together :)

Only one driver on duty at the underpass today with the info bus.

Had a very full 20545 on the 49 to Halton today and a pleasure it was to. Really nice ride on some of the B10's :)

17024 on the 55a this evening and 17021 on the 6a

The 2a is been diverted down the prom as resurfacing is been carried out on Euston road.

Got my Uni rider today and my word I've missed having a pass lol.

One of Merseyside's new Olys:

Refurb list updated (see 1st post). This update was mainly adding CCTV vehciles from the fleetlist, 20908 as retrimmed and updating the status of some vehicles (IE. those that have moved or changed status [eg. service -> Reserve -> Disposal])

As ever, please do let me know of omissions or errors so I can correct them.

Taa,

Two drivers back on underpass duty today.

17017 ran the 504 this morning then sat at the underpass with the Info bus till it was taken down to the bus station and then headed off toward Ripley, I assume to run the home bound 504.

Services disrupted again today with the 2/2a often running in pairs. When I left the Uni this afternoon the driver pushed 18365 to about 50 heading toward Scotforth.

18357 on 1620 555. I've never felt a bus so warm on the top deck, especially given the temperature! It was boiling.

I think I saw 21004 out and about again, but I'm not sure. I bet its fuel tank took some filling!

there has been an accident, around 15 mins ago, at the top of Senhouse Street, in Workington. the diverted route is unsuitable for large vehicles, so evening 30 and 301 will be affected. a 301 went up to the bus station not long after it happened, just before police arrived.
