20452 could heading towards lillyhall sometime this weekend as its sat on the back fence at morecambe with no ticket machine or operators licence. Thats the 2 b10m`s thats left morecambe for now

20790 left last monday for lillyhall just got 20452 on the backfence waiting to be picked up.

42535 is not listed in the 2009 handbook, so must of been disposed of.
Today in Hull, i saw fromer SCNW 20789 (N789 VRM) with Stagecoach in Lincolnshire names, working a Hull - Cleethorpes service.

Passed 20712 Kendal School runner at Lillyhall today and 20195 was working X58 FYI

This is whats bugging me if scnw are replacing the k reg b10`s are they going to keep the 3 school runners at kendal or are they going to refurb ex-manchester b10`s.

To be honest the school runners do the job they are there to do perfectly and replacing them would be more effort then its worth. So I think they'll keep the old timers 
20710-2 were given a lot of attention when they were reseated, and I think they got mechanical attention as well. They should be just as good as the ex-Manchester vehicles, and in theory should last until 2017.
20712 might have been at Lillyhall for attention/ a checkover before starting school services again. I can't imagine it's seen a lot of use on normal service over summer.

I agree with Mbonwick if they are mechanically sound then there's no reason to replace them. Especially seeing as some of the ex Manc examples don't run that well anyway!

They got the seating plan from a javelin (27035-37 f13?-spx) when they trialled one of them at kendal for school runs and thank to high heavens they got rid of them 2/3 yrs ago and we got the b10bs 21003-5 and 21007 to replace them

Oh I remember those lol that's a blast from the past! I always liked the school runners when I was on D2 in year 11 apart from the lack of leg room lol.

16661 is in newcastle having a chassis refurb then to carlisle for repaint it went up with a L.E.D blind in it. Only 16657/62/64/65 and 16667 to do. 16662 has already had an interior refurb just wants chassis and a repaint.

no idea see what happens.
all open top tridents started out on 599 today. all of them leaking where the centre door was.
17012 later died, and a fitter brought out a replacement. not sure what the replacement was (likely 16294), but the fitter got 17012 working again and took it to KL. i was on the bus behind 17012, and we came across 17012 just past Windermere en route to Grasmere. the driver had all the passengers standing next to the bus, while he flagged down our driver.
both 10179 and 10728 on Seatoller today. i had pleasure of going on both haha. 10179 later ran the Keswick - Penrith X5, and 10728 ran the Carlisle 554.
42531 and 42672 were on Buttermere services.
Osprey Bus on usual 74.
14265 on daytime 554.
20750 and 20984 on 505. 20750 is in very bad condition on exterior!!!
33173 was on layover at Windermere all day.
F808 FAO and H112 SAO were on Keswick - Kendal 555's.
20132 appeared at Windermere Railway Station showing "PRIVATE CHARTER" on front bright tech, and "PH" on side. rear was dead.
34079 on Moorclose 50.
47060 on 51.
33168, 33169 and 47616 on Harrington & Seaton.
47616 is currently out on Workington Town Evening Services.
34079 operated the evening Cockermouth X5, and i have never been so scared in my life! quite a few times we bumped up onto pavements, flying around corners at speed. the old thing is still terrified of hills though. driver built up loads of speed and power at the bottom, but all power disappeared on the hills. it also cut out under heavy braking, and took quite a bit of time to start again! we were blocking the road off in Little Broughton, facing downhill haha. was pretty scary!

It would seem that 17012 is a cursed vehicle lol.
I think they may finish off the Tridents when all the Olys are done...fingers crossed lol.

17012 probably having engine trouble went back to morecambe after blowing an head gasket two weeks after they put a reconditioned engine in (from17020) and 20750 used to be an ex morecambe bus.

Hopefully 17012 will settle down soon, just in time for the end of the season haha.

17012's problem was rain leaking in.
water got into the dashboard and sent the electronics crazy. when we overtook it after getting all its passengers onto ours (17015 i think it was), the dashboard looked like a christmas tree haha.
it was also making farting noises when i was on it haha.

Oh how embarrassing lol. Have any more of KL's vehicles been fitted with CCTV? 20456 (no sure) has had it fitted but no more have had the same treatment as yet lol. Seems very random haha.

It was new to morecambe and left when we got the 17xxx series(s812-824 bwc) tridents 5/6 yrs ago

Oh cool quite a lot of ME stuff ends up moving to KL. It nice that KL are getting rid of some of the old stuff. Those Leylands are still soldiering on though lol.
With regards to 27035-7, they were sold to PVS Barnsley (I think) at scrap value. When PVS looked at them properly, they found they were just too good to scrap and sold them on to Northern Blue.
17012s leaking won't have been helped by all those months outside at Morecambe being robbed of parts. The leaking around the centre door area is no doubt something that will be looked at over winter.
20750 is one of the few Kendal vehicles that's had a retrim, by virtue of the fact that its ex-Morecambe.
