Reported on another site that Ex Carlisle flood victims 22802/3 which ended up in Yorkshire are off to Bluebird in Scotland

I remember these being road tested on the 30 after they were repaired

So that means that 14853 must be "off the books" and probably heading for disposal. Makes sense that really, making sure the OTs are all Volvos.

K768 DAO, can you et some picture if possible please? I'd be very interested to see them!

Thank you very much. I must say, it is very interesting being able to see photos of what goes on "behind the scenes" as such at the depot.

Keep up the sterling work - you've already got a fanclub :p

Oh dear, where to start?
1. SC aren't gonna buy used Darts, they'll transfer them from elsewhere in the group
2. I highly doubt that Lancaster will lose its Versas, or any B10Ms unless replacements arrive (that's for the B10Ms).
3. SC Preston have 1 ex-PB versa, yes. But the other ones that SC Lancashire have at Fleetwood make regular appearances....

PB did not have any Versa's, they had 8 Solo SR, which looks similar to the Versa, and one Optare Dalta, which was used as a driver trainer.

Just back from Morecambe, where took a detour pass the depot, 17012 as now moved from scrappers corner, parked there was an open-top titan, and 4 trainers.

Yeah I knew PB didn't have Versa's.

I agree with mbonwick seeing what goes on "backstage" (excuse the pun).

I thought PB didn't have any Versas, which discredits the extract even further. The Delta is still around, but was seldom used in PB days and isn't used at all now.

Good to see that TA12 is out of scrappers corner, hopefully this means the pu for it has arrived and it will be back on the 599 soon.

The Titan and trainers are all being sold on AFAIK.

Oh I see well I suppose that makes sense. Are they still gona train at Lancaster or will they have to do it at other depots such as Preston?

Lancaster still has its 2 trainers, the ones that are being sold have been doing nothing at other depots for some time. With these disposals, no depot is losing the ability to train drivers.

I find Buses magazine fleet reports are to be taken with a pinch of salt, its very hit and miss on its accuracy or is very behind the times with movements - I remember 14174s departure being reported nearly 8 months after it had left the fleet!! I think the training buses used these days will be in better condition than the old Leopards that Lancaster used, but they were fun to drive :) Wikipedia can also be wide of the mark I cant see Lancaster losing the Versas not after the big launch they gave them I cant see a move back to B10s being a popular move with the elderly passengers that make up a siginificant proportion of the 6/6A loads. Second hand Darts are probably ones that have been bought during take overs (Traction?) or movements between fleets making displaced Darts appear in new places.

17023 on the 2 at Skerton bus gate
30277 on the 49 carrying window boards, no service number and 'Sorry not in service' on the screen
21005 on the 55A heading for the Bus station around 12:00

Yes, 8 are available from Preston so it's a 50/50 split between Kendal and Lillyhall.

Other ex-Preston Solos have gone to Manchester [and will be coming back soon I heard, when Manchester gets its 09 order] and East kent.

Simple answer: no one knows. They won't be coming back for several months, and they may go somewhere else after Manchester.

35247 had "Workington 30" on display, but it was running the time slot for 31:???:
20779 and 42562 on annexe.
42566 ran dead towards bus station when i was walking home.

In Carlisle, 33076 was on staff shuttle, and rocked its way into the bus station! looked worse than 32917!!!

If all vehicles at Barrow and LL are getting LED's does that mean Lancaster will be doing the same just as quickly lol
