I think Merseyside start going Gold after Cumbria - so probably around November time.

You're on the money again Michael - the latest info on the Stagecoach Chorley page indicates 125 going Gold in November.

Apparently SCNL have lost the Dallam school contracts to Traveller's Choice so there should be a reduced double-deck PVR anyway.

They are P-VPN and just look for the north west crack group on facebook, the cover picture is an optare Solo.

Next fleet movements due in October before the service changes.

Stage 5 Thursday 12th September 2015 Prudhoe to Hartside Pass via Hexham, Haydon Bridge, Hadrians Wall Military Road, Brampton, north of Penrith to Ullswater and Penrith.

Notice of changes to Stagecoach Services on Stagecoach website for Tuesday Stage 3. No updates for Thursday Stage 5 which will affect Brampton (685) and Penrith (104, X4/X5, 108).

Tour of Britain - Tuesday 8th September

There will be disruption to some services due to the rolling road closures introduced during the Tour of Britain cycle race.

Cockermouth, Services 47, 87, 600, X4/X5
Until proceedings on Cockermouth Main Street have been concluded, services that would normally operate through Cockermouth will pick up and set down customers at Gallowbarrow bus stop on the opposite side to the school (expected to be between 04:00 and 14:00).

Maryport, Services 30/31
The 10:09, 10:24 and 10:39 from Ewanrigg will not operate; nearest bus stop is Maryport Curzon Street.

Maryport, Service 57
10:20 from Maryport Senhouse Street will not operate.

Carlisle, Service 300
11:28 from Wigton to Carlisle and 12:10 Carlisle to Whitehaven are expected to suffer delays.

Due to the unpredictable nature of such events, times may change and delays can occur without notice.

Tour of Britain - 10th September 2015

On Tuesday 10th September the Tour of Britain cycle race will be passing through Cumbria which will cause disruption to our services. Rolling road closures will be put in place to allow the cyclists through and buses will be delayed whilst the closures are in place in each area.

The main disruption will be caused in Carlisle from approximately 1200-1230 when the cyclists will pass through the city so please allow extra time for your journey if travelling at these times as all services are likely to face some delays. We will endeavour to have all services running as scheduled as soon as possible once all roads have reopened.

Services Affected: 60, 60A, 61, 61A, 61B, 62, 62A, 67, 69, 73, 73, 73, 73, 73A, 73A, 73A, 76, 76, 77, 77A, 78, 79, 79, 179, 508, 508, 554, 554, 579, 600, 600, 685, 685, 685

18156 has been on the 68 Blackpool last few days. 34620 has also moved over to Preston.

The slim line Solos transferred from down south have entered service at Preston.

A question regarding Chorley routes, is the 109 staying put or moving to Preston? Someone has mentioned that its moving to Preston.

These dates are wrong!, Tuesday is the 8th not the 10th, and Thursday is the 10th not the 12th, the 12th is on Saturday.
