Preston's new E200s are finally starting to enter service at Preston. Like the E300s, some are receiving route branding for route 3 Preston - Penwortham.

23 ex Stagecoach London Dennis Trident/Alexander ALX 400s are now at Manchester 13 are to cover an increased vehicle requirement linked to the introduction of new Magic Bus service 141 (East Didsbury - West Didsbury - RNCM - Bonsall Street - Birley Fields Campus) 17452, 17499/500/4/7/16/9-22/35/61/78 They have received Magic Bus livery (some being dealt with at Carlisle) and received LED destination displays. Their centre doors will be retained as an experiment. The other ten will form a reserve fleet and will initially be parked at Wigan. They are 17484/6/93/4/7/501/11/27/67/75

I've just passed three Magicbus liveried Tridents that were heading south on the M6 near Preston. they looked freshly repainted.

i can 100 Percent confirm that the former JPT Buses that got used are parked at Hyde Road as i just got tagged in a photo of some of them parked up there (The Enviro 200's and Primos look set to stay in Service!)

Another Dart for Chorley is 34743.

I was in Preston yesterday, 37128/9 are carrying green branding for route 3 whilst 37127 has no route branding. I also saw Solo 47713 which used to be South Wales based, now based at Gilmoss.

As far as I know, that bus has never been based in South Wales. It was new as a bio-fuel (or somesuch) powered bus to Arriva at their Bootle garage, part or fully funded by Merseytravel. It was part of a batch of five and they were withdrawn quite early on in their careers as they were troublesome. They were then parked up out of use for ages. Stagecoach bought them off Arriva/Merseytravel in 2010 and had them refurbished before entering service at Gillmoss. Since then, some of them have been loaned to both Preston and Chorley depots.

Everything that you have stated is correct TRN481V except that I think there are six 47709-14. They seem to go on loan to any of the depots that Gillmoss is responsible for as required.When at Gillmoss they can normally be found on Route 10C Liverpool to Knotty Ash.

Got my numbers mixed up i should have said 47385.

What about 17460, 17508, 17509, 17550, 17566, 17570, and 17571 ?, which have been reported elsewhere as also being in the Manchester fleet.

47333 should be back in service this week after suffering a minor fire last week.

Darts at CY are now 34743 34744 34745, more will follow as MAN's move out towards the end of October.

Thursday 18th September 2014 - ADL E200 37116 YY14WFG operated the last Stagecoach 685 roundtrip - Hexham (dep 1941) -> Carlisle (arr 2056) and the preceeding Carlisle (dep 1754) -> Hexham (arr 1922)

Stagecoach Middleton are a little short on Buses at the moment with every SP06 MAN being VOR, noted out in service for them yesterday was S130 TRJ and S133 TRJ both did pass into Reserve last month but will continue to get used intil the bus shortage is cleared up.

12.20 today Carlisle Castle Way - saw 2 Unibus E400 (Stagecoach Leamington Spa) heading eastbound. Speculation - heading back to the M6 after refuel and break at Carlisle depot and off to the Gleneagles Ryder Cup Park and Ride bus shuttle?

Stagecoach Middletons bad luck with Bus shortages continues, 17006 S806 BWC hit a crane today taking damage to the top deck, its now sat at the rear of Hyde Road, not sure if its got a future or not

Hit an excavator that was folded up on a low loader actually.

Although the photo wasn't great, looked like all it will need is new upstairs front windows.

18324,18326,18330,18365 and 18375 are at Morecambe as Ryder cup covers for the 6 E400s that have gone to Scotland.

What about them?

At the date I posted the list they were not at, nor due at Manchester. They may have arrived subsequently. It is of course entirely possible that reports posted elsewhere are wrong I cannot vouch for them

MAN's will move from CY earlier now beginning 6th Oct meaning Darts from GM to CY.

28513 & 28514 will move from PR to CY.

33178 & 17021 will move back to GM.

17111 & 17113 will stay at CY for the foreseable.
