Spotted S798KRM on the 22 on monday night and on the 31A this morning
Looked like it had been replaced by afternoon by a PS from what I seen from a Coffee shop
47059 been on the 2 today too.
22104 been 300s. Most 300s been running very late.
My first thought was 3 weeks when I saw the damage...I should be an accident surveyor!
Would love to know why the Reay's driver reportedly felt the need to kick the cab open...
Reays must be doing very well now in carlisle that they're buying 11 new ADL E200s, two indeed have been delivered. Do you all think stagecoach has given up on fighting Reays, or have they got a trick up their sleeve, like what Brighton and Hove had against The Big Lemon?
We have 24122 on the 685 again today.
67/68 branded 34706 on 554 to Keswick.
47020 first day in service on the Sainsburys contract and later 76 while 47022 on the 60.
34079 under service prep along with 34218.

Bus will be off for around 3 weeks.
Another Reays publicity stunt this one, Reays driver did not even know it was in the paper until he was told.

20710 working the 1010, 1210, 1410, 1610 505 Windermere to Coniston.
14259 out on 599s while 17012 is off road.
Sorry stagecoachuk your miss informed, the driver did know as he spoke to the N&S the day of the accident. No publicity stunt just fact.

errr because the door was jammed and the driver couldn't get outTake a look at the photo the front step has quite a kink.
SV
I appreciate that, but according to N&S the driver was already out - so why the need to go in?
IIRC the emergency stop for a dart is under the bonnet at the rear.
Somebody might want to inform the driver in question then as he has no knowledge of speaking to any press!

N&S just making that bit up. Reays lad tried kicking it in to get the driver out!

Owing to many factors including the worse traffic since last christmas Carlisle threw up some interesting allocations today.
We had 18357 on the 60 (First time for a Trident). It is now to be used on Town service instead of 104 as schools are off.
34700 on the 554 and 16329 back out on Seatollers.
34079 made it's maiden voyage out of Carlisle this morning, booked onto the first 685 but never left the garage and failed. It was later chucked out onto the 94 due to shortages but failed again later in the day replaced by 20965.
20965 and 47018 started the day on the 38 today but 20965 failed which was then replaced by 47020 which also failed later in the day and ended up running 30 mins late.
We had 16337 on the 600 and 20133 on the 685.
Lillyhall had 20902 on the 600 as normal but it failed in Carlisle and went back to Lillyhall light.
20959 is going on loan to Kendal for the weekend while we get 20945 out of Penrith. We were due to get 20711 but changed last minute.
We have sent 5 of out 6 buses to Liverpool now with the 6th going next week after service.
CumbrianJosh, I can understand that the number of failures is likely to be high due to newer vehicles being sent to London for the Olympics & expect this is putting a strain on those vehicles that in normal daily use wouldn't have been expected to be put quite demanding duties.
Will there be any further re-allocations of the North West fleet that could make improvements to vehicle reliability?
Is it a case of 'Make do & mend' until the Olympics are over?
Make do with the rubbish we have until they come back. We will be short on Monday so look out for some Optares on routes they shouldnt be!
We had 20965 on the 61 today after r34695 failed and refusing to use 34079.
34700/34703 on Dumfries runs.
34700 failed replaced by 20904. One of the Seatollers also failed today.
Got to love the Olympics and the mess it has left!
I think 24123 might have failed around early afternoon, I saw it this morning then 16336 was on its time slot around 3 hours later.
After the Olympics have finished, does Stagecoach North West & Cumbria have a list of planned withdrawals depending on the number of new vehicles being put into traffic?
Not that I know of. 16336 was on the Carlisle short slot.
