18357 in the 105 in Penrith today instead of the usual 104 not sure what was in its place.
16393 in Kendal depot this morning too, surely it would be more useful in Penrith depot the way their open tops have been this year

22141 due to leave Carlisle for Kendal tonight all branded up for the 800 along with another.

Carlisle Enviro 300's are getting back to normal after all having a trouble free few weeks. 24124 at MAN while 34719 and 20547 were covering on the 79 today.

47474 should be out any day now.

34700 on 685 today.

The only problem for 22141 on the new 800 is that between Braithwaite and whinlatter it's is extreamly tight even for slimlines 47721/2 Hope it doesn't get stuck! :D

Most of the E400s are in storage as there is no room to put all the deckers in the yard and the 2 that have arrived will be possibly for type-training/engineering purposes(dont see the point as we have the scanias).

I think they are all been delivered to ME then moving when London are ready for them.

How many buses are actually going to London for the olympics! First are sending a huge handful down as well as Stagecoach, where will they all go and why is there need for so many?

Figures I've seen put the number of extra buses in London for the Games at around 1,500. And that doesn't include coaches on daytrips or the First spectator coaches.

The simple reason that so many are going is because there will be millions of people to move - while First are mainly moving spectators, they've had to contract a lot of that out. Stagecoach, in addition to spectators, are the main provider for Olympic athletes and "family" (ie. staff), and provide support for the Olympic Torch Relay.

18357 does a 105 every day before going onto the 104. 16336 was also in use with the awful 17017 VOR for a change...

Stagecoach have built 2 new depots (mainly outside parking) each of which will hold 500 buses)

Any pictures of said new depots? I've not heard anything about them.
I imagine the mothballed Upton Park depot will also be brought back into service.

:lol:That is indeed the Depot at West Ham for 400 Stagecoach Vehicles, the other will be situated at Media City and will house 700 Vehicles, as stated NO Vehicles will be less than 2 years old, quite a few are already in situ from brand new parked already ready to go fitted with the correct equipment for the duration of the Olympics all covered with protective coverings.

Some have obviousley been leased.

Keep your eye out, they are either coming from falkirk or leyland and always turn up before 8pm.

PX12 DMF/O are the latest E400s to turn up, also the guys that are bringing them are using new E300s for other depots as shuttles.

There is only a PVR of 1 with 1 spare on standby in the depot. It would seem 22140 is going to be the one not needed until next year.

47474 still not in service with Carlisle yet.

For those who are interested Reays Dublin Olympians are now in Blackburn for Open Top Conversion.

There have also been some changes to what is happening with his new 55 service.

17017 off duty again.... weirdly it was 20959 on in its place rather than an olympian or at least something low floor

Wow Can't quite imagine Reays doing an open top service but it should be good :)

if only stagecoach had got two 55 reg tridents(possibly another one of kendal's old ones) rather than one 55 reg and a knackered S reg which will probably be lucky if its still on the road this time next year..

Came off rather badly, thick black oily smoke pouring out from it I was told.
Should have really got a new Euro 5 engine and gearbox when it died the first time..... Can't argue that it keeps coming back fighting
