I'm sure the destination was Heysham (presumably just changed as the bus was still heading up to the main campus at the time); I saw it from the sports centre.

I have seen deckers on the 4 before now, although not very frequently - and I'd assume its even less common now with the E300s

I noticed yesterday a Single Decker working on Preston to Blackpool 61s with Stagecoach Preston Citi livery, whilst the other being a Double Decker. I know one was an ex-Preston Bus & not quite sure of the other. It certainly wasn't an Optaire Solo, the same type of bus was seen on a Lancaster to Blackpool 42s.

In that case you observed a very rare working indeed! I have seen an S reg Trident on the 4 on two occasions in the past. May have just run from the bus station up to the Uni and back to allow for a single to be brought over to replace it.

Interestingly I also observed an MAN on a 41 today, as well as doing 2/2a's. The allocators must be having fun at the moment!

Yeah MANs appear on the 41 now and then and quite frequently on the 2/2a. Not so bad over Easter when Students are away but can be a bit cramped during term time haha!

Carlisle's short Dart 34219 has had new blue seat backs fitted, and has been retrimmed.

Wonder if 20540 and 20544 have 'in lancaster' stickers on them, no doubt they`ll be kept up there until the summer.

Yeah I wouldn't assume that all the B10s ME lost will return as cover. Some odd ones may come from anywhere and of course some of the deckers sat at ME could be brought in to operate single deck routes like some Carnforths etc. Just a thought anyway!

Any ideas on the reason why 47474 is parked up at Lillyhall?
Carlisle or Lillyhall would benefit... Probably more so Carlisle.
