outside garages was 14247 (F807 FAO), which had, as previously mentioned, new flip up school bus signs, and had "SCHOOL SPECIAL" on the bright tech.


bus allocations in Carlisle:
20107 and 33076 on 75.
47068 (SF04 VFS, branded for Dumfries Town Services) was on Carlisle - Lockerbie 382.
20894 on 79 with a semi-working Bright Tech.
Citi branded 34685 on 38.
33162 was on 95.
20306 on 104 with a fully working bright tech haha.

spare drivers and inspectors were running around Carlisle handing bottles of water to drivers on all services and from all operators.

33167, 34079 and an 04 reg solo on Harrington & Seaton.
16447, 16651, 16652, 16654 and 16734 all had a go on 300.

52635 was on X5 this morning!!!!!! later replaced by 20761. 52635 had boards taped onto bottom corner of windscreen as it doesnt have any destination display equipment fitted.
20752 and 20753 were both on annexe this morning. 752's bright tech has been fixed. 753 later ran Northside 48.

found out its from Stagecoach West Scotland. its very likely that it was running the X75 (Stranraer - Carlisle. a joint service with James King. SC usually use a P reg Interurban on it) and either broke down at Carlisle end or it ended its duty in Carlisle and it stayed at the depot.

Latest North West Fleetcard for you to examine. It actually shows the 2 Fife MAN's as operational at Preston, but I don't think this is the case yet?

shows 47005 as Lillyhall Reserve!
and its showing only 1 709D left at LL, when there was supposed to be 2. although, i have saw a few of the 709Ds still running around lol. 40651, 40013 and 40025 all been flying around recently.
also showing the ex Manchester B10M's as Lillyhall Reserve and Carlisle Reserve.

I like the attachment concerning S192 RAO on the disposals list. Others have definitive reasons such as gearbox failure - but for this bus it just says "rough". Interestingly, three L reg B10ms are also on that list, one of them with cctv

CCTV is being removed at Lillyhall for fitment into as yet unknown vehicles.

Lillyhall's 709D's that have recently been put on reserve, will apparently still be in service until tax or MOT run out, whichever comes first. they will be operated off the Reserve Fleet, just like Morecambe's 30281.

40025 on Northside 48.
40651 been used as staff shuttle.
40028 in bus station, presumably on layover from SL Ltd.
20763 on 31.
20757 and 42565 just sitting on annexe.
47023 on Moorclose Circular 51.
an 04 reg solo (couldnt see which cos old people were standing chatting outside shops and there was no room to go past without walking in the road!) on Moorclose Circular 50.
only bus i've saw on Harrington & Seaton so far is 33167. they're running slightly late, so i didnt get to see what was on the other time slots.
a TransCumbria branded Jonck on X5, couldnt see which it was though lol.

47616 on Mirehouse Circular 4, and the useless blind ar*e of a driver nearly caused an accident involving my dads car! lucky we were only doing 20, otherwise that would be another accident involving an 08 reg solo! somehow, i don't think a zafira wedged into the side of a solo half pulled out of a bus stop would be a good image for Stagecoach!

47005 probably isnt here yet, if it even comes lol. would make sense though, cos 8 709D's have been put into reserve in 2009 (even though some still in service lol), but only had 7 replacements (4 solo's and the 3 Marshall darts).
quite a bit of stuff happens on paper that doesnt happen in reality lol. it was only in May when 33167 and 33168 were put onto Lillyhall fleet officially on paper, even though they've been around for months!

makes me happy that LL's Leylands are only like, schools and work contracts haha.
our evening services run quite well usually lol. Enviro 300 on 30, B10M on 301, solo / dart on Workington Sown Services (usually one that has been on Harrington & Seaton), a solo on Whitehaven Town Services. Joncks / B10M's (depends what has been on during the day) does the X5, apart from the 0815 run, which is just to Cockermouth, that is whatever has been on a Workington town service during the day usually. it does like, route 36 to Cockermouth, then route 35 coming back (those routes are no longer operated by Stagecoach).

they sometimes run the Tesco Free Bus as well (if stagecoach still run that haha).
pointless LL doing Tesco Free Bus, cos its only really old people who use it, and they have free passes anyways, and the 30 & 31 both stop like, pretty much outside Tesco.

isnt often i see the Leylands anymore like lol. i don't see school services anymore, and whenever i see SL Ltd Contract, its a B10M / 709D / Vario lol.

i think i'd rather see the Leylands than the Volvo's though haha. the Leylands ran much better than Volvo Oly's. Leylands have more of a proper bus feel to them (unlike these MAN sh*te we get these days haha).
