47019 in service with Kendal today, on 555 shuttles.
14259 on extra 555's, guessing Lakeland Pathfinder Trident is still at LL.
20949 and 20984 both on 505's, while 33170 was on 552's. 33173 was sat in the depot being washed.
18360 overheated just outside Keswick on 555. 17013 broke down on 599's.
20905 and 20906 both parked up in Ambleside outstation.
20219 and 20967 were both parked up at Windermere.

Do you mean 17277 which is an X reg Trident rather then 18277 which is an 05 reg London Trident...?

22816 is at Carlisle for repaint at present. 34691 has returned from Lillyhall and is in the bodyshop being rubbed down alongside a London ALX400. Around 12.00 today 17246 arrived at Carlisle.

Does any body have any idea where 17246 is going? I'm told it is a short example which seems odd and it puzzles me why it stopped off at KL on its way up.
All I can think is
1-It broke down on the way up and KL was the closest depot.
2-It's going to given the OT treatment
Just seen a report on North West today about trams in Preston. Preston have apparently put in for government funding to bring back trams to Preston. There could be up to 5 routes with two of them running as early as next year if the funding is awarded. It will also bring around 9000 jobs to the county.
"Preston became a city in 2002. Most European cities enjoy the benefit of tramways to get around fast and congestion free. Now Tram Power is bringing trams to the people of Preston. As one of the most convenient methods of travelling, the City Class trams of Tram Power will help ease congestion and parking problems currently experienced in Preston.
The Guild Line is the first of a proposed four-line network, which will connect many key parts of the city with Park & Ride stations outside the city centre. It will also connect many areas of the city to the railway station, retail parks, hospitals, football stadium and the University.
The Guild Line team is working with Preston City Council and Lancashire County Council to deliver an integrated project that improves the environment and status of the city. The aim is to have the Guild Line open in 2012. This is the next Preston Guild Year, and the first since Preston was made a city in 2002.
Powered by renewable sources of energy, such as wind and solar power, the trams are environmentally friendly, and even with a full capacity of 200 passengers, the tram will use less energy and be as quiet as a family car.
The Preston tram network will also enhance existing cycle routes and pathways, encouraging cleaner and greener transportation in Preston.
The first step of the Preston Tram Power scheme will take place in early 2011, where a demonstration track will run from the West View Leisure Centre. Preston Tram Power will be inviting schools, local businesses and residents, who will all be able to experience the benefits of the tram network and learn how trams operate by taking a ride on the demonstrator line."

Currently there are 3 Tridents at Manchester awaiting movement to Chorley, one Optare from Preston and another two from elswhere, these should all move within the next 4 weeks.....keep your eyes peeled........

P Reg's yes, B10M's will be mothballed and brought out next year to replace Scania E400's that cascade down to London from ALL Depot's.

Been in the land of stagecoach devon this last week and I have to say, although the buses were generally cleaner inside (due to less passengers dropping less litter) but on the outside quite a few of the buses are in desperate need for a repaint. And also I noticed on the tridents and E400's that the safety screen on the drivers cab door had been removed, didn't think stagecoach allowed this on there buses.

More buses on service X5 between Workington, Cockermouth and Keswick from 31st May - now to continue beyond September!
Stagecoach is pleased to announce that due to the success of the extra journeys that we introduced on the X5 service between Workington and Keswick for the summer, these journeys will now continue beyond the original end date of 3rd September.
The trial has been very successful and we want to make these extra journeys a more permanent feature of the timetable going forward. As a result, we are guaranteeing to run them until at least the end of October, after which we will introduce our winter timetable, where we hope to continue to provide two buses per hour between Workington and Keswick all year round.
