Just I read a blog online, and the suggestion was that if Stagecoach were to sell Preston Bus to its employees, it would mean that they had sold it to someone who really wasn't capable of taking on Stagecoach. I personally thoguht it was a virtual certainty the employees would get it.

But, this is speculation. No official announcement on the winning bidder.

Maybe a good diea to speak more about PB in the thread I started, What if Preston Bus is sold and Goes Bust.

The inbound was running late, didn't know how late so, as I had a B10M spare i stuck that on it, as it turns out it wasn't that late but loading was well underway when it appeared on the radar

fully accessible Workington town services this afternoon! (taking into account 34079 doesn't have a wheelchair ramp, so isn't really properly accessible).

34218 on short 300.
20945 on 30 and 31. 34616 out on there as well.

its definitely marked down on mine! :lol: typically, the day all of them ended up fully wheelchair accessible, I didn't see a wheelchair passenger anywhere :roll:

47005's displays working fine this afternoon, on Workington Town Services.

15683 and 15686 on 301.

47061 on 22 in Whitehaven, with no LED's working. piece of paper stuck to windscreen.
47059 and 47616 running not in service through Whitehaven within a few minutes of each other.

16708 has reportedly surfaced at Kendal...on its way elsewhere, just for temporary storage, or a transfer?

Mmmmmm interesting...not sure why they would send it to KL for storage seeing as they have very little space as it is and its a bit of an odd place to stick it as half way point between Carlisle and somewhere else...we'll have to see!

16708 possibly at Kendal for repanel before repaint? they've repanelled a bus before, so could be they're doing it again! or maybe they're being allowed to refurb a bus!

34214 on short 685.
52627 normal 685. some Arriva ones have been running 45 mins late, due to drivers running that late they ran out of driving time.
33076 on 67 and 68.
34048 on 69.
16355 was on 554, but was pulled off due to heating not working. 16397 replaced it.
24122 on 79/179.
20904 was pulled from service, due to front suspension becoming rather overly high.

20436 broke down in Carlisle on saturday, with 20960 going on loan to Lillyhall. 20436 swapped 20960 on the 1040 600 from Carlisle.
20910 was the other LL 600. 20907 on the CE one.

15683, 15686, 16447 and 16654 on 300.
34218 and 47023 on Seaton 47.
47006 and 47617 on Harrington Circulars.
34079 on Moorclose 50.
47059 on Moorclose 51.
20473 on 0820 X5 to Cockermouth.
16651 and 34616 on 30 and 31.

All quiet on the western front tonight!!!

Only thing I noticed today was a MAN on the X1 and 22813 has had a new shiny panel fitted around its rear lights on the right side.

DISRUPTION TO SERVICES DUE TO ICE/SNOW and ROADWORKS/ DISRUPTIONS

Kendal Area
Service 555/556 Leesgill and Heversham are not being served.
Service 505 is not serving Hawkshead Village, but is getting to Coniston via an alternate route.
Service 516 is terminating at Chapel Stile and not reaching Dungeon Ghyll.
Service 567 is not serving Endmoor Village, but is operating along the A65 main road.
Service 552/553 is not serving Briary Bank in Arnside and is terminating at the Pier.

West Cumbria
Services 30/31 are not serving Thornhill and Ewanrigg Estate in Maryport.
Services 56 & 57 Maryport Town Services are suspended.
Service 58 is not serving Tallentire Village or Towncroft in Dearham.
Service X4/X5 are not serving Stainton or Rheged.

Carlisle
Service 685 is not serving Low Row or Gilsland Village.
Due to adverse weather conditions across the North West, the following services on Tuesday 30th November will be operating as follows:

Lancaster
Heavy traffic in Lancaster, is causing delays to ALL services.
Services 5 and 50 are not serving Windermere Road Estate in Carnforth
Service 49 is not serving Lunesdale Viw in Halton

Customers are advised that the inclement weather may sometimes cause disruption in the operation of bus services.

16397 broke down in Wigton on 554. all passengers transferred onto 16651, which i was on.
14232 done 1200 554.

20945 on Moorclose 50.
47024 on Moorclose 51.
35246 and 47617 on Seaton 47.

47062, 52628 and 14257 were on the annexe. 52635 staff shuttle (the door wouldn't open).

34214 on 69.
20907 spare in city centre.
20904 back out, with its front suspension back to normal :lol:
