18325/27/61/62/63/64/82 on 2/2a (with others)
20540/45 on X1

Not much else today pretty average by all accounts.

Was wondering before whether KL will put in for new vehicles at some point just like ME has with the 40/41.I imagine Scania's will be needed within the next few years lol.

there is an article in the News & Star newspaper today about the 75 in Carlisle, which Reays now run after being scrapped by Stagecoach.
according to the article, passenger numbers have increased by approximately 20% since Reays took up the service.
the article also says that the Competition Commision are being asked to investigate Stagecoach's decision to axe the route!!!

Much of todays allocation for Prestons 3 (City-Penwortham) was the former Fife MAN 18.220s, a couple of Preston Bus vehicles noted without Stagecoach branding too

16185 went to Kendal today and 21007 went to Lancaster

Does that mean that 21007 will be back in service tomorrow, along with 21005 ?

The damaged railings at the back of the south bound stands, have now been repaired. I believe that Gez is running a book on how long it takes before they get damaged yet again! I would like to place a £5 bet on them getting damaged this Friday afternoon by a MAN backing out of stand 4.

Here goes again, so Competition Commission are going to have yet another go at Stagecoach for being unable to make a service pay. Were as a smaller company, with smaller overheads can.

Can't say I gamble, but if I did I'd have £5 on them being damaged before Friday!

16185 going to KL has surprised me! Will 16184 follow? Wonder if 14245 will be back in ME soon now that's gone up...

I have no idea whats going on with the B10B's does ME need them what with the services chances and reduction in PVR?

If there is a continued increase in passenger numbers then the Primos might prove to be too small! It has to be said that the Primos certainly look smart and stand out, and must be giving a better impression than the seemingly random selection of buses Stagecoach used on the 75.

Don't see what the competition commission have to do with this - Stagecoach operated the service and the notification of the change in service was published in N & P 25th December 2009, and the County Council has funded a replacement service. There was no competition on the route before, and there is none on the route now. If Stagecoach felt the route was not profitable on a commercial basis it was their right to deregister it, which they did.

It seems a bit rich for the prospective Labour MP to complain about the near monopoly which Stagecoach has in Carlisle: his party has had 13 years in power to change the system of deregulated bus service provision and has done very little.

People will always find an excuse to have a go at SC simply because they are such a big company. Yes they have a monopoly in Carlisle but as long as the services are of a high standard it shouldn't bloody matter!

21005 on schools
14196 on schools
22805 on 55 to Ripley
17022/24, 18324/25/26/27/61/64/65/81/82 22804 and 22824 on 2/2a
Usual Versa on early X1 and 22816 on X1 later on this afternoon.

17017 on school service this afternoon heading South bound out of town.
21005 appeared on the 2a at about 2.30.

Does anyone know where 20964 is now, having moved from Manchester? I think it's at SC Highland, but confirmation would be appreciated.

I will put up the full list of stuff later, (using iPod at min and it takes a while to type stuff), but 33076's bright tech is actually programmed with Iill instead of Hill for when on 76. Andy 37 tried it when I was at bus station. 42577 has it's bright tech programmed with Hill.

In other news, 14265 is on 93 of which hasn't had a decker on for years!

A b10m with rear led and dp seats was in bus wash rubbed down.
52627 in the shed from schools
52409 and 52626 on 685.
16397 on 554.

The Manchester fleetcard shows it as moving to East Scotland but, as I don't have an East Scotland fleetcard yet, I don't know the depot

continuing from my earlier post:

20761 on LL's run on 300, running 15 mins late. this is presumably due to a rather major accident on the A595 in early hours of this morning. rather unfortunately, i know one of the daughters of the man who was killed :(
20904 and 20907 on CE's runs of 300.
20759 and 20768 on 600.

20908 was seemingly the spare bus today at bus station ;)
33076 was on 38's, but was running that late, that one of the inspectors sent 42090 out on it, sending 33076 onto layover.
42577 on 71 and 101.
34048 on 69.
42094 broke down on the 95, so 20944 (i think) was sent out on rescue.
33161 on short 685's.

Paladin 20994, 16353, 16355, 20909, 20966, 20944, 14232 and a few Darts in workshop areas this morning.
16336 and 34696 sat outside big shed.
a 62 branded Dart and 76 branded Dart in paintshops.
14254 and 14268 were both in the back corner of depot, with "steering wheel cover of death" on the steering wheels.

20964 was collected from Manchester on February 26th, by a Dundee driver where it has replaced older B10M 20111 which has been withdrawn with accident damage

Spotted Gez driving 20451 on the 49 at about 2.55. Is there a shortage of drivers as I saw another white shirt driving the other day...

22809 may have been to the vehicle testing station near Milnthorpe.
