Indeed congrats Paul! I've seen 14208 quite a lot on late 3's really nice vehicle to ride in not sure whats its like to drive lol.

Its really nice to drive i just couldnt stop it with 75 people on coming out of uni an going to uni with that many on i topped 15MPH going up tp boys grammer

Yeah its like trying to get a Trident up Hala hill with a full load. It feels like your hitting about 5/10MPH lol.

Also I think I've mentioned this before but in the 2005 Tridents there are white plug sockets in the cab. In most of Lancaster's there are no plugs stuck into them but KL used to have most of there's plugged in. I used to think it was a power lead for the ticket machine but if there not been used I have no idea.

It was a plug for the ticket machine, but now Kendal are fitting some of theirs with fans for the driver, so it may be for that as well.
Lancaster like to keep the wires hidden as much as possible - one less thing to get caught and pulled out.

14204 goes on now and again but last time it went on kendals the gearbox nearly went on it.

They go to preston/blackpool nearly everyday but for some reason they dont like kendals?? Most probably the hills they cant handle.:roll:

Yeah it is pretty hilly I suppose 
well, its the end of the Open Top season, and winter timetables are starting tomorrow. This will see the 599 operate hourly. no changes will be made to the 78 (it already runs hourly with only 1 vehicle).
17014/5/6 on 599.
20127 on 505.
20132 on 517.
20457 (think i've got the number right) was on layover at Windermere, with 516 on displays.
10179 on Seatoller for what should have been the last time
Barrow's 40646 on 618. this was the last day they were running it. as of tomorrow, it is Travellers Choice (i think).
42533 and 42670 on 77 / 77A.
47059 on 50.
34616 on 51 again.
33169, 47024 and 47061 on Harrington & Seaton.
20435 was on something, and now has correct plates on both front and rear (M235 TBV).
16651 was on 300 this morning, but was replaced by 16653, which had came off Northside 48.
20765 done the next Northside 48.
20759, 20768, 20779, 52627 and 52629 all had a go on X services.
the new LakesRider Magazine is out, but this time, its called Cumbria Rider. the X4 / X5 services are advertised as carrying wheelchair as of tomorrow. not sure if it actually will or not! you have to ring up Stagecoach to check availability of the wheelchair space, on 01900 604589.
618 is still advertised as being operated by Stagecoach, but, it says that there may be changes to the service, which we know there are.
it also says that there may be changes to the operation of the X35 service.
Other services subject to change are:
* 58 Maryport - Cockermouth
* 79 / 179 Carlisle - Dumfries / Annan
* 685 Newcastle - Carlisle (joint route between Arriva North East and Stagecoach NW.

This maybe to do with the transfer of depots between Arriva North East & Go North East. Ashington will move from GNE to ANE whilst Hexham will transfer from ANE to GNE. I understand that the ANE trips on 685 will operate out of Jesmond instead of Hexham. As ever, this is all subject to agreement with the OFT. [but as Stagecoach isn't involved, that shouldn't be a problem!!!!]
forgot to mention that the 599 will only be Bowness - Ambleside. the rest of the route is covered by the 555.
it is also noted that the 554 is no longer advertised as Low Floor. the accessibility logo is one the pages, with a note underneath saying "Not Service 554". would make sense to get this low floor really! and something that isnt Leyland Olympian / B10M!

Also the last 'official' day of full trident operation of the 125's, every available trident was out on the road with only a couple of Volvo's needed to fill the gaps...
Cant see any Scanias being out on Sunday, and Monday will probably only see the start of the trickle..
Still should all be done ready for the 29th Nov changes..

Spotted an UID Vario in Lillyhall last night doing a short 300, Whitehaven to Workington... It had a "Changing" dot display... showing Destination, then only number centre screen...
thought this had been kicked to the kerb??

I presume this means 34079 will probably end up in Workington on a full time basis then...
I was behind this last week when it was on 46 Harrington... and it was in 1st gear up harrington hill, doing 5mph - No joke, a jogger overtook it on the way up!!!! it would be a *Cough* good bus on a nice level route!
