Stagecoach in Lincoln & Chesterfield.

I spent a couple of days here (Lincoln) earlier in the year but failed to see any of the stagecoach 52 reg East Lancs bodied MAN's (396xx series). Does anyone know what route / services they are used on as I am heading back there at the weekend.

Same for Chesterfield's small fleet of Enviro 200's (350xx) & Scania 340's (593xx).

The 396xx East Lancs MANs are now at Worksop, generally on local runs.

Cannot speak for Chesterfield, although I believe there has been some changing going on with the NatEx fleet there.

Chesterfield's Excels are still there, but the K340EB6 Levantes have been returned to the lease co. The K340EB4s will follow soon as B9R Levantes are delivered.

Im going on possibly outdated information but the last time I used buses in lincoln (admittedly about 6 months ago) the elc mans were quite common on route 44 ( birchwood estate via moorland) and they sometimes cropped up on route 27 ( north hykeham) .

Aren't they separate entities?

Chesterfield is part of Stagecoach Yorkshire.
Lincoln is the base for Stagecoach East Midlands which covers Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire now.

The 396xx East Lancs MANs are now at Worksop, generally on local runs.

After an ill-fated attempt to run them on the Sherwood Arrow between Worksop and Retford to Nottingham. Stagecoach should have known better really, as when the vehicles were initially purchased by RoadCar they were used on the InterConnect 1 between Lincoln and Grantham where they didn't fare too well. Their reliability has never been that great, and they were deeply unpopular with drivers at Lincoln due to this and their uncomfortable cabs.

Had a good weekend in Lincs, had a morning in Grimsby to catch up with the based Stagecoach fleet and a day and a half at Lincoln which was alright. No time to go to Newark for the new Optare's or Worksop for any based stuff.

Sunday was quiet at Chesterfield and most of the depot cannot be seen from outside so had a few hours in Sheffield and Derby instead and caught up with some of the new First buses at Olive Grove and a few Arriva and multi-coloured Trent Barton buses at Derby.
