Stagecoach Falcon - £1 Singles - 14 February 2017

For those of you that are interested, on the 14th February 2017, Stagecoach are offering £1 single fares on any journey (or journeys made).

Either book through megabus.com or pay the driver on the day.

Can't believe that it has been around for a year already, seems only a few months ago it started running!

One of those experiments that could be remarkably successful, a remarkable turkey or (if Stagecoach are lucky) somewhere in-between. Once the service is known about, which point should have been reached by now, then I would imagine reliability is the key i.e. how often and by how much traffic congestion and accidents impinge on it. Other than scrapping or otherwise restricting the night service I can't see a decrease in frequency leading to anything other than complete withdrawal following, so I hope it's not being considered.
