Rennie's 16229 made in surprising appearance in Arbroath on Monday with Arbroath's 16658 on the evenings 32 to Montrose.
Dundee's 22259 made a surprising appearance on the 39 Dundee to Arbroath route yesterday with Arbroath 27527 on the 74 route in Dundee also seen yesterday.
Arbroath's 19895 also made a surprising appearance on the X7 route last week, whilst blairgowrie's 16232 was in Arbroath last week just for a repaint as it was seen in a photo on stagecoach east Scotland facebook page.
How many olys are left in service in fife and are there going to be any buses arriving or leaving Arbroath's, blairgowrie's and Dundee's depots ant time soon?

16228/9 have transferred to Arbroath as replacements for 16881/3.
16232 was at Arbroath being prepared for transfer to Blair.
There should be two Olys at Cowdenbeath, and no more than 5 at Rennies.

Bay never operated them, giving them up before the contracts started in August. A1 have been running them since the start of the academic year, although they're just one year contracts.

Good to see the paper work has only taken four months to be sorted out.
I'm not one bit surprised Bay has never operated the routes.

Thanks for the info regarding 16228/9 going to Arbroath to replace 16881/3 as I saw both 16881/3 just last week idling away at the bus station. Will the olys be used on services around Arbroath, Montrose, brechin and Forfar or be used on the 39s and 73s to Dundee?
Also blairgowrie is getting more olys and solos to replace to remaining pyoneers and beavers on services around Blair. Not sure what's going to happen to the pyoneers or beavers. Perhaps, they are going to rennie's or go to another operator?
There's no future for the Pyoneers or Beavers with Stagecoach - their age means that they can't be used on school contracts. The only hope maybe for the Beavers is use as staff shuttles, but I don't know of anywhere that needs them.

Might not get used as staff shuttles, however there is the odd occasion where there is a shuttle bus which takes passengers that have arrived at Perth Bus Station off of a Citylink Service and requires a Megabus connection at Broxden P&R. They usually use Solo's for that, and the odd Strathtay B10M coach...
They might bung the Beavers through to Perth for that....

The 74 is worked by Arbroath and Forfar, but is usually an E400.

Has the interior been re-done or has it still got Perth's Goldline interior throughout?

The former Goldline E300 buses at Arbroath, St.Andrews (and those still at Perth), all retain the same interiors that they had in their Perth Gold days on the 7.
The 8 new B13Rs arrived at Aberhill depot earlier this month. They have been given registration numbers beginning with YX 63 ???, fleet numbers are 54138 - 145. They are all being given a varied rear end branding including Victoria Hospital, Forth Valley Hospital. Kirkcaldy the Lang Toun X26/X27, Glasgow, and possibly others I have not noticed yet! They are due to go in service on 25 November.

I take it the 5 spare B7 will move to Glenrothes and Cowdenbeath on Sunday?
I would imagine so, but I'm not sure how many or which ones will be going where. 53256 is a loan vehicle at Aberhill at the moment. 53257-53261 may well be transferred.

Anyone knows the whereabouts of 16881/3 are as I haven't seen them in arbroath for over 2 weeks, are they getting prepared to head elsewhere? Will the pyoneers and beavers bow out of service next week from the effects of the timetable change in Fife?
Anyone knows when the next timetable change will happen on the strathtay routes throughout Dundee and angus?
16881/3 are parked up at Arbroath pending disposal.
The withdrawal of Pyoneers and Beavers is not directly related to service changes, and is due to the reallocation of newer Olympians following Trident conversions, and the displacement of Solos from Aberhill by Solo SRs.

Thanks for the info the whereabouts of 16881/3, was there a pyoneer parked up at Arbroath's Elliot depot yesterday about 1440 and was there a very old Leyland leopard also parked there, it looked like it was in blue?
Also, what is up with the Arbroath based E300s 27526-27529 as there also used on the 39 during the day but recently I've seen a couple of vykings used on the 39 vice the E300s.
Is vyking 16930 SP03 GDK now a Arbroath bus or is it still based and allocated to Dundee as I've seen it recently in Arbroath or the past two weeks?
I've not been to Arbroath before (but will be tomorrow!) so I'm not sure, but they might be used on other routes other than the 39. It might also be for additional capacity as some 39s can be quite busy.
16930 hasn't been seen in Dundee for a while, thought it was away for a repaint or something. I hope it isn't a Arbroath bus now, as it is my favorite Vyking, and because Dundee probably needs a few more deckers for the 16 and school routes.

Thanks to Mbonwick, I have the new East Scotland fleetcard. Notable things, while we're on the subject of Volvo Olympians, is that there are just five remaining at Fife, two at Cowdenbeath, five at Rennies. Also, H423/6 BNL, the only two remaining Scania N113DRBs in Fife, and which haven't been used for some time, are both to go for scrap. Apparently, one of this duo was sold to a bus group in Tyne and Wear for preservation. I was told that "internal politics" had led to changes at the group, and it may well be that they've gave up o the vehicle.
Also watch for some unusual workings on Boxing day, such as St. Andrews doing turns on services X24 and 96, routes on which they don't normally do turns on.

You missed 16932 which was on the 57 to perth via blairgowrie and dart 34213 was also on a 73 (I only saw this saying dundee city center on its destination board) and as well as 16931 which was on a X42!!!
And also 42234 which was on a X42!!! And arbroath's 16658 on a 16!!!

I didn't miss 34213 as I got a photo of that too on the 73 college working!
42234 was on the X42, but was switched over to the 77 by 3.30 pm as I got it on the 1603 from Kingoodie
Missed out on a photo of 16658, as was boarding 42234 at the time. And when it passed me again, I was on my 22267 :-x

16881/3 are indeed parked up at Arbroath along with pyoneers 16810/12 (ex blairgowrie), dart 34059 (ex Dunfermline I think), beavers 42225/37 (ex blairgowrie), solo 47004, oly 16231 (which is meant to be at blairgowrie), plaxton 51063 (ex bluebird I think) and along with a few of the active fleet and a blue Leyland leopard!? All are placed in the reserve fleet in Arbroath.
What does the term 'reserve fleet' mean. Does that mean they are placed on stand by in case if there is vehicle shortages from the active fleet?

Reserve is basically reserve, they could be used for a number of reasons really.
How long has 34059 been away from Perth? I notice on the fleetcard though that Police Scotland has bought 34060...
