Hi all,
I was surprised to discover that when I was passed through EbbsFleet International late on Wednesday night, nearly midnight, that there were about a dozen or so staff members patrolling the station. The ticket barriers were open (does anyone know what time they are opened?) , the Eurostar services haven't stopped there since Covid (although that may be changing soon?) and there really wasn't that many passengers about. The ticket offices were under-stably closed but I was still surprised by the large number of staff.
I know the station is twenty four hours but is there a reason why there need to be so many staff. I'm not complaining, I'm just curious. Wouldn't a smaller team of five or six be sufficient?
