Staff travel on pick up/set down only trains

Any official lines on staff travelling to/from work on pick up/set down only trains.I'm sure there was an agreement allowing staff in uniform travelling residentially to use these services as part of a past rostering agreement.Need to point out not usually a problem with guards/TMs but can cause problems with barrier staff at certain locations

IIRC The official ATOC line is that it is treated the same as normal pax, (i.e. not permitted and would result in the full undiscounted Anytime fare being charged from the station the train last "officially" picked up at).

There may be reciprocal agreements between TOCs, but the only people that would have that information is your HR Department.

I don't see why barrier staff would refuse you access to platforms, how do they know what specific train you intend to get?
