Just buy the season online if you can't get it at the ticket office. You only need your photocard number and place where the previous season was issued (if a renewal).

Or buy at Watford. And/or apply for a new photocard.

Actually - there's something on another thread saying that TfL staff qualify for a cheaper season ticket - are you getting that, or paying public prices?

I'd also disagree with their interpretation of a through train meaning it does not need to stop at Watford Junction, but I'm not confident enough on that point to assert it.

Similar sentiments reading the thread. It does sound complicated over something that should be simple though.

As well as condition 19[which i'm trying to get my head around] it may be as well to do with that VT has stopping restrictions on trains that stop at Watford Junction whilst the Brum-Watford tickets will be valid you aren't normally allowed to board Southbound VT trains at WFJ, & alight at WFJ on VT Northbound services, which means the WFJ-EUS staff season ticket might not valid on VT.

I think the confusion arises from the fact that Condition 13 is not really relevant here. The issue here is whether the staff pass and a regular season may be combined to make one journey and this is covered under Condition 19.

In addition, the stopping pattern of a service has no bearing on whether it is classed as a through train for the purpose of defining permitted routes of a journey.

@OP. Is there nothing your union can do to help you speed the process along? I would hate to think that it takes LUL four months to sort out a ticketing issue experienced by an employee, potentially leaving him £1000 out of pocket each year.
