Staff Oyster Card Application

I am trying to find out if I am able to apply for the Staff Oyster Card beforehand but could not get through to anyone. I am due to commence employment on 1st July . Could an existing employee advise please , i I have to wait until the employment commencement date or can i apply for the staff Oyster card beforehand

You’ll get the application form when everyone else does, and the card will arrive at some point during your training (first week probably).

I had my application form alongside my paper contract and other bits and pieces of paperwork in the post. I then had my card given to me on day 1. What role are you going into?
