Sorry Last stock question as have asked a few. The xx55 Service from London StPancras to Sheffield is that HST or 222 ???. Thanks Again.

Thanks for pointing that out. I always use the National Rail web site which doesnt show the stock so I didnt actually realise the Tocs advertised what stock the service is. Something new learnt.

only EMT do that and maybe NXEC, would be nice if XC did it, I know what it is (got all diagrams clocked

The Platform displays in Sheffield differentiate between "CrossCountry" and "CrossCountry HST" - they don't do this with East Midlands Trains or anyone else for that.

All CrossCountry announcements declare that
I've seen it in Plymouth. They proudly declare:"This is the Cross Country HST service from Penzance"
