No need to appologise mate. Something this special is worth seeing again & again. Recently walked up the Euston Road & the boards have come down at the front & i just stood there in amazement & awe. Tried to go in for a beer but was stopped by security (in a nice way). Suppose everyone wants a peek. Sir John would be very very proud.

No, lottery win = buying an apartment!

Oh to live within walking distance of Paddington, Marylebone, Euston, St Pancras and Kings Cross!

Lovely.

Fantastic to have a hotel (and such a grand one at that) as literally part of the station.

For more modest budgets, there's always the Travelodge facing the platforms at Leeds.

Thanks - I had a visit about three years ago when it was being worked on - nice to see the end product!

British Rail did a tour round it in about 1996 and I went but unfortunately I had a really cheap camera and my photos aren't much good. It's nice to see they seem to have kept the original style of decor. I guess you have to ask why it stood empty so long?

I did a small tour of this as part of Open House a good few years back, after the place was featured on the TV show Most Haunted.

I am very lucky to have stayed at the Hotel with expenses paid by my employer. I was due to take the Eurostar into France the day after. It was only a one night stay, but it's not a bad place at all! ;)
