St Ives Branch Line: Summer Staffing

Hi all,

Ive spent the week in Cornwall. I notice that most stations on the branch line are staffed with at least two staff. Are these staff mostly seasonal or are they other staff posted there for the day? I noticed one was a train manager. Are all in this role or is it more complicated than that?

I would assume they are at the stations to sell tickets & control the crowds (for example Lelant Saltings, not allowing folk onto the platform if a non-stop service is due to pass). Most likely seasonal, as I can't really picture the crowds on a wet cold November Wednesday being massive
