I attended the Trainee Train Driver assessment day with Southern this week and have been told that I have passed and that the next step will be a Managers interview. They told be that they will be in touch in the near future to arrange a date for this.
I was therefore just wondering if anyone knows what type of questions I can expect and any other things you think it would be useful for me to know. When the assessor told me about the Managers interview it was slightly confusing as he mentioned that I may be asked questions similar to, but not the same as those asked during the SI.
I have heard this before about the Managers Interview for Southern, so it seems that they mix up the questions a lot, and the questions seem to involve the usual Manager interview type questions (What do you know about Southern and their routes?, why do you want to work for us?, why do you want to be a train driver?, etc) as well as SI Scenario type questions (tell us about a time when you have dealt with an emergency?, etc).
Any help/advice anyone can give me on this would be greatly appreciated !
