I have one in my possession just now and quite fancy taking in a Voyager on the Glasgow to Kilmarnock line. Will my SPT Day Tripper ticket be valid for travel or will Virgin not accept it?

Virgin isn't listed as an accepting operator, just Scotrail and the Subway.

however as ScotRail are telling people for Kilmarnock to use the VT service and there is 1 Scotrail train fewer, I would argue that it should be accepted.

OP:travel and in the unlikely attempt the TM dosen't like it and charges you, you'll get a 45 RTV from VT anyway to stop you complaining!:D

Yeah, the reason I asked was I knew that Scotrail were telling people to use the Virgin service.

Might as well give it a bash and see. Thanks for the info folks
