One combo ive never seen a scotrail 3 x 158 . Must of happened a lot before the 170s arrived .

The longest I've worked in service was 3 158s and a 156 for 8 cars from Liverpool to Nottingham as the previous train was cancelled, driver didn't sign via Earlestown.

ATW have run a 9 car set this evening. The 2 158s 15:13 Milford Haven - Manchester was 2 X 158 were joined at Shrewsbury by another 158, a 153 and a 150. It will be coming back from Manchester as the 22:35 to Crewe.

I saw this lash up approaching Manchester last night.

I dimly recall the maximum I ever worked was an 6-car 150+150+153+153 on a Sunday once.

My own record is a 7 (150+153+158+158). I was only supposed to pass on it, but it was booked for a Holyhead guard and they don't sign 153s any more so we swapped roles.
