Spotting

Hi Guys,

I don't know if anyone knows but I've spotted a few DMU's & EMU's & IC125 & 225 sets recently, however, didn't catch the number of the rear unit if I post a list does anyone know what was the rear unit as I have seen them just didn't catch the number and its really bugging me!

That's what spotting's all about. It's what you record seeing not depending on what others tell you. In my opinion, RTT has taken a great deal of excitement out of the hobby.
Although I did hear of a blind(ish) spotter who depended on his mates for the numbers.

My point being is I have seen them but a lot of the times it was at night as it’s really the only time I get to stations and just didn’t catch the number on the rear even though it did pass me just didn’t catch the number there’s only a couple I need.
