spotted 2 NIR GM locos

Spotted in Derry/Londonderry station this morning. Two NIR blue GM Co-Co 111 class locos coupled with three ballast wagons. Locos were at the station end of things with the wagons facing the Belfast end of things.
Last time I looked there was no track. Was this set up low loaded in to assist with track laying?

No, they were all driven up to Derry prior to the track being lifted. It will be some time yet before they can 'escape' again. All part of a massive track improvement scheme currently under way which means the line won't see scheduled services again until April next year.
