I thought I'd recommend www.sporcle.com because of the wide variety of quizzes it has (I've mentioned some of these elsewhere on this forum)

And try searching for railways stations or "Welsh railway stations" for more.


I usually frequent the geography category; I'm not going to boast, but I can name 195/197 of the world's countries in 10 minutes!

I posted a link back to that ages ago! I spend far too much time on that haha. I'm now four stations away from being able name all the stations on the SE network (already got southern nailed haha).


And I have something like 178 of the countries of the world. I'm getting there. Capitals of the world has now increased to about 125

Indeed. My favorites are west Midlands stations and "shire" stations.

Our form times at school mainly consisted of a classroom effort at a Sporcle quiz on the overhead projector. Each day it was the next pupil down in register order who would choose the quiz.

Nice. Coincidentally I've been back on the site and I can get 67/100 top UK settlements in about 10 minutes. Try getting more than 195/197 countries now!
