Thank forums/consumer TV shows for telling people the first way to complain is to the MD!
It does usually work though, to be fair, so no wonder people choose this against going via customer services.
This is because 99% of the time customer services staff are nothing but a complete foboff who run you round in circles in the hope that you won't come back. BT are the worst for it. Almost never will they admit that there has been a f@ckup at their end, it's always a problem with your router, your server, your telephone socket, your cable or your splitter, when actually they just won't own up that it's a line fault. Think of customer service reps as a firewall for the bods that actually matter, if you will. Very few people will succeed to the higher level where problems actually get fixed, and if you do succeed, it often takes multiple attempts and much wasted time/stress.
