Apologies for not being able to give specifics, this is a fairly large 'loophole' that I have found saving a large amount of money, so obviously do not want it to be discovered. I will keep the question very simple:
Does Condition 14.3 of the NRCoT, allowing you to split tickets without the train stopping on a zone based ticket still apply when using two rovers/rangers? They both have a station in common but not all trains stop at it.

Yes. It would also be permitted if only one of your tickets were a ranger/rover (or season etc.), but splitting with two rangers/rovers is fine too.

The only slightly ambiguous area would be if the rangers/rovers had overlapping validity, as strictly speaking 14.3 does require that:
the last station at which one Ticket is valid and the first station that the other Ticket is valid are the same

But it would seem very unlikely that any member of staff would be aware of this exact wording.

Unless the specific conditions of either of the rovers/rangers prohibit this then this is fine. Please check those conditions.
