i plan to from dawlish to wolverhampton to see my family 0n the 15 november and return on the 17 of november.
could anyone help me withe split-tikets please? i have tryed my self but with on luck.

Assuming you don't have any railcards then Dawlish - Exeter - Birmingham - Wolves Crosscountry AP's are coming in at £33 each way as follows:

If using AP's you must use the Crosscountry service you are booked on and you are not allowed to break your journey..

Bear in mind that an off-peak return is £84.50 so any more than the fares above and you would be much better off with the off-peak return due to its flexibility.

Just having a quick look at Exeter St Davids to Wolverhampton there are loads of £32 coming back and some £26.50 fares going both ways. A Dawlish - Exeter St Davids off-peak day return is £3.90 or £5.40 departing before 08:45. These are mostly with a single change after Exeter at Birmingham New Street.

hi ther. the rout i was thinking of were exeter to brislol. to wolverhampton using the split tickt way to save my self some moor cash if poss.

I've split at Bristol for Wolves - Newquay before where two advances was cheaper than the single advance.

You need to do some sort of split that gets around the fact that the stretch of line between Tiverton Parkway and Bristol Temple Meads is eyewateringly expensive - a Tiverton to Bristol offpeak return, a journey of just 47 minutes, is a staggering £23.70.

Hmmm - not my first choice - but it should be cheaper. Just bear in mind that megabus doesn't serve either Dawlish or Wolverhampton, so you will need to make and pay for connections.

Edit: Looking at current prices on 15th November, it's not really much cheaper than advances on the train - but you may have already got one of the really cheap tickets, and used up the last of the quota.
