split ticket advice needed!!

Hi,

Can anyone help me out regarding splitting tickets as I am aware this can help reduce costs. I am looking to find the cheapest split for Liverpool to Preston, single only. So far I've got it to £10.10 by splitting at Ormskirk using a Saveaway ticket to Ormskirk then single between there and Preston. Anyone get it a little cheaper?
