Speed of HS2 trains

I'm pretty sure the trains are meant to run a approximately 320kmh (~205mph) but I recall that due to budget cuts, it was reduced. Is this true? If so, how fast are they meant to run?

It was reduced from 360km/h to 320km/h, iirc.
