Speed limits in Bangor tunnel

On leaving Bangor eastbound, trains pass through Bangor tunnel at a low speed, but then start accelerating shortly before exiting the tunnel. I think the driver accelerates with perhaps two hundred yards of tunnel remaining, so how is the speed change indicated inside the tunnel? (Surely there isn't room for a normal speed limit board in there...)

I don't know the situation at Bangor Tunnel, but a miniature speed board (450 mm diameter) will easily fit inside any tunnel. I have seen full-size speed boards (900 mm diameter) mounted low down inside Newton Street Tunnel, Greenock.

As far as I can see there are no linespeed changes in that area and it is 75mph all the way through, unless there is a TSR in force?

Leaving Bangor today on a 158 (vice a 175 yesterday) the driver accelerated fully on entering the tunnel. Perhaps yesterday's driver has experience of finding trespassers at the end of the tunnel and took things leisurely until they could see the exit clearly.
