Specific requests with meals in First Class

This is probably a stupid question...

But I was wondering with first class breakfast on Virgin and East Coast, are you able to request scrambled eggs instead of fried for the breakfasts?

Just wondering if they accommodate requests like that?

Probabbly not,
The food comes out in "buffet Style"
my advice, would be to sit near to the kitchen (london facing end of the train) and have a quick work with the first class host before they start serving

All Depends on the Staff/Chef I've never had a problem asking for scrambled instead of fried eggs.

Anyway, I can't see any problem if you ask the host / cook nicely and they're not in a foul mood...

From my experience, EC comes with scrambled as standard whereas Virgin comes with fried as standard. It'd be quite churlish for them to refuse to swap as others have said.

As has been said EC are scrambled as standard. If the service has an actual chef cooking the breakfasts from fresh you might be lucky but if they're the pre-prepared sort that are just cooked in the oven then tipped out onto the plate there's no chance. I'm not sure about Virgin and the likelihood of getting scrambled instead of fried.

I have been refused scrambled eggs on VT, even though they are available to accompany the salmon!
