Berney Arms Inn was still there when I walked from the station to Reedham last year. Closed but intact. I haven't heard or read about it being burned down and if so would expect to find this through Google
Should have said "As far as I remember, according to another post on this forum some time ago which I can't find now"!
I suppose that's not really a reliable source though!
Dovey Junction has been mentioned - I did it recently and it was fascinating. Really long platform (due to the passing loop) to walk down to the footpath which has a stream running underneath.
Superb views for miles and you’re very likely to have the station to yourself.
I did this station last year, had around a 90 minute wait, the stream I was just sitting and watching it flow with the cows up and down trying to get out
