A new Northern day ticket offer is about to start. The prices have gone up to £12 for the day ticket and £20 for the weekend ticket. These new prices are already on the Northern website: Unlimited Rail Travel with National World | Offers | Northern https://share.google/Zmbj1FkZKTCEGLFjY
Tokens will be in National World newspapers from Monday 8th September. They will be in Reach plc newspapers from Monday 1st September: Participating Papers Reach PLC | Offer | Northern https://share.google/ausGH6ENPICnoGMRe
I've just printed off a Reach plc form. The form says: "1. Tickets available for sale from Monday 1st September 2025 – Sunday 21st September 2025. Tickets can be purchased no more than three days in advance of travel. 2. Travel is available for sale from Monday 1st September 2025 – Thursday 23rd October 2025. One-day tickets are available every day for the duration of this offer. Weekend Rover tickets are available each Saturday and Sunday between Saturday 6th September 2025 and Sunday 19th October 2025". I'm assuming that the end date of Sunday 21st September for the purchase of tickets must be a mistake? Especially if tickets can be purchased no more than three days in advance! Thanks for this.
I suspect things are still being pieced together regarding this offer, because whilst your first link (https://www.northernrailway.co.uk/tickets/newspaper-offer/national-world) shows:
"Unlimited rail travel £12 for one day or £20 for a weekend"
... if you got 'up' one level to https://www.northernrailway.co.uk/tickets/newspaper-offer it still reads:
"We’ve teamed up with local newspapers to bring back unlimited train travel with National World and Reach PLC. The offer is £10 per day or £17.50 for the weekend"

They are, Yes. Also available in the Daily Star, which is cheaperI'm told that tokens for the Northern offer are in Reach plc newspapers (such as the Daily Mirror North) today.

2000 Virgin points when buying Railcards from VirginAnyone know of any railcard discounts on at the moment, or upcoming? My final 26-30 expires in three weeks and I'll most likely be needing a Network Railcard and a 2 Together.
Unlimited I think. The ticket office doesn’t record your nameAlways wondered is it one form for both reach and national world per customer with having to register for it or in theory can you fill in as many forms as you’re willing to buy papers (obtain enough tokens) for ?
You can fill in an unlimited number of forms. The Reach plc forms need two tokens. The National World forms need three tokens. So best to buy Reach plc newspapers and just use Reach plc forms.2000 Virgin points when buying Railcards from Virgin

Thank you very much , defintely cheaper especially with the star at £1.30You can fill in an unlimited number of forms. The Reach plc forms need two tokens. The National World forms need three tokens. So best just to use Reach plc forms (the tokens are all the same).
Last time there was a difference in tokens. Reach tokens were red similar to this issue, and Blackpool Gazette (National) yellow. Will be getting more Star papers as its the cheapest and only 2 tokens! You can fill in an unlimited number of forms. The Reach plc forms need two tokens. The National World forms need three tokens. So best just to use Reach plc forms (the tokens are all the same).
It may renew through. As it does every other Wednesday. So we'll have to see tomorrow.Today is last day of Barclays 8% cashback offer with LNER.
Think they’re just changing it to be incorporated in their app, annoyingly no offers for a month in the conversion time though! It may renew through. As it does every other Wednesday. So we'll have to see tomorrow.
However Barclays Cashback is ending on 1 Oct. It is unclear from the email they sent out it any cashback has to be redeemed to card by then. It takes 35 days from transaction to become payable.
Interesting, mine dropped down to 5% months ago, I even actually lost it entirely not too long ago for one cycle , I’ve clearly been using it too much!Today is last day of Barclays 8% cashback offer with LNER.
https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/sa...a-app-w-code-train-ticket-to-activate-4674497 has a code to get a Two Together railcard for £26.25 from Trainpal. Two together railcard its time to renew but i dont see any offers ior discount codes available to drop it below £35.
