No, not stupidity, but fleet reliability awards. The best of all prize went to the Class 357s with nearly 70k miles per casualty. Of particular note, considering the stick they're given both as stock and a TOC, CrossCountry picked up the gold and silver award for modern DMUs, the 221s out performing NatEx's electric fleet. Well done to all the depots and their staff that picked up awards for their hard work. This isn't to say of course that other depots slack off, but other fleets are more troublesome.
