Has anyone recently used the Spa Valley Railway with a ticket issued at a normal rail station?

I bought a Tunbridge Wells West to Eridge return today, and it's £9 instead of the railway's own £15 return fare and wondered if they hadn't updated the fares in a while since (presumably) not many use these.

There are mentions of CCST for Spa Valley on here from a while ago that even mention Railcard discounts being applied for the mainline section, but I couldn't see any Railcard fares on BRFares when I looked.

These are only supposed to be sold from Eridge when a National Rail ticket to Eridge is already held. They are also supposed to only be available at weekends and public holidays. There are no discounts other for children.

I've got a DaySave ticket and the ticket is for this Saturday, so sounds alright then. I guess I shouldn't have bought the ticket at Gatwick though...

I showed the staff how to issue it and they were rather confused about why I couldn't get it from the ticket machine but all worked out.
