Hi,

Got a letter from them a couple weeks ago, lost the letter and would like to pay off my fine....
Does anyone know the payment telephone number? I do not want the customer service as would be on hold for half hour.

Thanks

Was the letter from Ircas, the agency that South West trains use for penalty fare appeals and payments? If so you can call them on 0845 434 8272 or email them on customer.services@ital-uk.com. They should be able to track your PF from your name, place and date PF was issued and the journey you were making.

Let us know how you get on. Best to sort asap as will add fees and eventually refer to debt collectors or for prosecution if not paid.

If the letter was actually to advise you that they intended to take you to court for a fare evasion offence, then at this point it may well not be as simple as paying the fine (which technically wont be a fine if you have not been taken to court yet, it will be a penalty fare or a fee to settle out of court).

There might be a kind person on here who knows SWT revenue protection contact details, or you can always ask @sw_trains on twitter, they are usually very responsive

Did you get issued a Penalty Fare in person by a South West Trains inspector?
