A major comms fault is affecting all level crossing phones in Wales at the moment. Network Rail techs are on site trying to fix it.

Absolute chaos at Cardiff yesterday evening (7pm), my boss lives in Llanharan and was waiting for the 1915 to Maesteg, which finally arrived at 1929 but was then cancelled after no prior warning but so was the 2013 to Maesteg too! Apparently the 2001 to Milford Haven (1630 from Manchester) made additional stops at Pontyclun, Llanharan and Pencoed (as did the 2104 to Milford Haven) but that was too late as my boss caught the 1936 to Radyr with me and got her fiancé to pick her up from there.

Despite several announcements being made (both automated and manual), many people were still boarding terminating trains. This is the problem on Saturdays when the Valleys lot leave their little villages and get released into Cardiff for the evening!
