I've had to venture to Sydenham today and took the Overground there. To my surprise I see a Southern service on the down platform around 13:50 with 'East Croydon - calling at Penge West, Anerley, Norwood Jun' on the CIS.
I think that'll be useful getting in home and that it's nice to see a ECR service again. I look on Real Time for times but the train I saw isn't on there. So I look on the Southern website and again, no mention of it.
I resort to Signal Maps and I see the next service also calling along the Sydenham corridor. Headcode 2H35 (in pink). I click on it and it comes up as a London Bridge - Beckenham Jun via Peckham Rye. So I assume its a diversion? Any idea why?
