Trains from Victoria to Gatwick are diverted via Horsham.

Contactless is not valid at Three Bridges or Horsham but I presume it would still be valid to travel between Clapham Junction and Gatwick?

I don't expect it to be, but would a paper ticket from Victoria to Gatwick or Three Bridges be valid to break at Horsham and/or Three Bridges?

This weekend, since Redhill - Gatwick Airport section will be closed, there are trains from Victoria to Gatwick Airport that will travel via Horsham. Given that Gatwick Airport is a tourist-heavy station, assuming the station will have quite a bit of occasional oyster card users. The problem...

GTR have in the past given passengers permission to use Contactless or Oyster PAYG between London and Gatwick via Horsham, although break of journey is not permitted between Epsom and Gatwick Airport exclusive:

Hi there. So long as a passenger doesn't try and break their journey outside of the PAYG area, then yes it would be fine for someone to use PAYG between Victoria and Gatwick Airport over the weekend on these trains as a result of the engineering works and diversions.
