I used to live in Locks Heath and used Swanwick...an easy place to park and you now have possibly three ways to get to London Waterloo.

Presumably the unit will run ECS to Clapham High Street from London Bridge having arrived there as an ex-Uckfield working?

Would have been rather neat to have a London Bridge - Ealing Broadway service.

Apparently about 1/3 of SN departures out of Portsmouth will be 313-operated.

That'll be the Portsmouth & Southsea - Littlehampton stopping services. The longer distance workings to Brighton, and obviously Victoria, will still be 377 operated I think.

The Soton-Brighton sunday services are definitely happening! It was a franchise commitment!

Sorry, but I knew that - have a look at my post in the context of the one I was replying to, where the previous poster was apparently wondering why there wasn't a service already.

He had missed my ealier post and that we were already discussing it was running from December at post #15 onwards...

I used to live in Locks Heath and used Swanwick...an easy place to park and you now have possibly three ways to get to London Waterloo.

Swanwick car park is currently being extended to provide 50 more spaces. Another sign that usage is increasing significantly. I had a few cases earlier in the year when I had to go to Bursledon for a space!
