I was into model railways a little when I was a child I keep wondering if I should get back into it and I was wondering if there are any Southern Region Multiple units available around at reasonable prices.

Stuff like the 5WES and 4REP and a variety of things like that, things with jumper cables because I like jumper cables :D
And either Class 73s or 33/1s, again for jumper cables.

Thanks for any help.

There are three SR units being produced by Bachmann (2EPB, 4CEP) and Hornby (4VEP), Bachmann is also producing a MLV (to be released). Hornby have a 73 in the main range and a 33 in the 'Railroad' range (I don't think it is a 33/1 though), although these are only marginally better than the Lima models before them (being the same body but new motor). Heljan have also released a model of the 33, which I believe includes atleast one of each variety.

Rail Exclusives are having a new Class 33 tooled which is promising to be the best model yet. http://www.railexclusive.com/index.php?category=83

Good evening,

If you are still looking for this, Swanage Railway shop at Swanage steam railway Station had some of these when I was there a week or so ago.
Look at Hattons, Janes Trains, Gaugemaster by Ford (Sussex) Station and Rails of Sheffield, if you can not see what you want on their sites, give them a call, some seem to sell 2nd hand items that may not be on the webpages. Hope you find what you want. I want to get back into OO Railways, but I was made redundant a while ago and until I get a new job, I can not really afford it. Job hunting is really hard at the moment. (any offers? SW Lon)
