Southern rail interview postponed

Hi all.

Was just looking to see if anyone has had a similar experience to me?

I was due to have an interview with Southern today at 11am. It has been booked for over a month and was really looking forward to it. I had a call about 10 minutes ago 8:15 am to say that my interview has been postponed and keep an eye out for future dates to book on the GTR websites.

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Sorry to hear this - was this for DMI or MMI?

Had my DMI a week ago no problems and saw another on here had his DMI the week before mine no problems.

It is likely you will be thrown 'back in the pool' and be included in the next round of emails once new dates get added to their recruitment portal.

thanks for the reply and congratulations to you! when do you start?

was just a mythed that it got called off a few hours before. wasn't best pleased as had to take a days holiday from my current job which seems wasted now! thought was a bit un professional but maybe they had good reason.

Ah no, by no problems I meant it was not cancelled.

No heard back yet, if successful it will then be on to the MMI.

Hope you hear back soon about rescheduling.

Not great for you,but sounds like a manager due to interview you isn't available, maybe due to sickness. Or maybe some other major catastrophe has ensued at short notice.
