Southern On Train Announcements

Hi folks, don't know if anyone can help - would like to get hold of some on - train announcesments from southern/southwest electrostar/desiro/455 trains if I could as I don't get to london very often. I am in particular interested in the suburban metro lines if possible. Thankyou in anticipation for your help:grin:

He most certainly can. I have a wide collection of announcements from South West Trains (Celia Drummond) and Southern (Julie Berry). However, I don't have much from the suburban area, I think Jordy might be able to help you more there.

This gets better! Has anyone tride the announcements pages by robert payne if they are interested in this sort of thing? There are now four sites covering various routes from around the southern area during the late 80s-90s of which gets longer every day. There is also a very interesting article available on the Victoria Solari "Flapper" boards. Google victoria solari boards and follow the link that says Robert Payne. This will take you to the solari page and then follow links to the sound pages. Well worth a visit to hear Robert Lister or Juilie berry from BR days!

I am a frequent visitor to that site, there was a fifth collection (not advertised anywhere but changing the -4 to a -5 granted access) with some old DITRA stuff but that appears to have gone. Appears the fifth collection is back but sans any of the DITRA material.
